The Serious Side of April

Today may be April Fool’s Day, but childhood sexual abuse is no joke. April is National Childhood Sexual Abuse Prevention Month, but we need to be vigilant all year round. Diana Scimone of Born to Fly once interviewed a woman who worked to rescue girls from the sex trafficking trade in another country. The woman said that where prevention and awareness are taught, the rate of sex trafficking plummets. Let’s make that true of childhood sexual abuse, too!
